August 1, 2016. Yah-Yah-Ya Ramen, Union Square. It’s another dinner before dropping Ben off at the airport for his monthly business trip. Ben decided to go to Union Square for dinner. Apparently, there is not many restaurants in Union Square which the boys like. We finally settled with Yah-Yah-Ya Ramen. Customers register themselves on a registration sheet at the entrance like most Japanese restaurants practice. It was full house when we were there, so we waited like 15 minutes for a table. We had steaks from different sources. Sweet potatoes on the side. The one in front was from Costco while the one on the back was from local farmer. The mess in my head. Ik loop langs het water. Kijkend naar het water, tot ik besef dat ik leef. Vandaag heb ik samen met Rens al een groot stuk gelopen in het park. We hebben fijn gepraat. Hoewel het mij steeds duidelijker wordt hoe diep ze in haar eetstoornis zit. Het besef dat ik al veel verder ben geeft me ruimte om te ademen. Ik ken diepe dalen. Ik heb me eruit moeten vechten. Ik ben er nog lang niet, maar ik ben op de goede weg. Ik schrok toen ze zei dat ze teveel had gegeten, in vergelijk tot mij.
