another split decision: July 2010
http://anothersplitdecision.blogspot.com/2010_07_01_archive.html
Wednesday, July 21, 2010. The summer's been hot and I've been lazy. Not much to report in the land of new ventures, thoughts or progress- I really just haven't done much besides work, reading, and trying not to die of heat exhaustion. I wish that I didn't. The above photo was taken last year at Woodland Cemetery, an old charming cemetery just a few blocks from our home in West Philadelphia. Mary, Mother of God, please just help me survive until the end of summer! Regards. And stay hydrated.

another split decision: split decision.

Friday, February 25, 2011. It's time for a change. A good change. I've started a new blog. With a new name and a new direction. A little over a year ago, I decided to create this blog on a whim. At the time, I wasn't entirely sure about the world of blogging but decided to just jump right into it- sink or swim. Thankfully, it's served me well and I've enjoyed having all of you here by my side as I've settled into married life, first time cat-momma-ism, and a new city. Let's move on, shall we?

Wednesday, May 26, 2010. A little planting today. Some bird food to keep Random entertained from his spot in the window. A little gift from Caroline for watching Kitten. All in all, a wonderful day. Tuesday, May 25, 2010. It's small and it's silly, but when Christopher goes away for a few days, the thing that really underlines his absence is seeing my lonesome toothbrush on the sink. I guess i'll have to make a trip to the grocery store this morning. Wednesday, May 19, 2010. This past week, after a few r...

another split decision: October 2010
http://anothersplitdecision.blogspot.com/2010_10_01_archive.html
Sunday, October 24, 2010. Saturday, October 16, 2010. Last week, Christopher's friend Lucy came in from London. Both of them play music together (along with 8 other awesome people) in cuddle magic. Right now, they're on an east coast tour for three weeks (consequently, leaving me a little bit on the lonely side at the old homestead). Anyways, Lucy and her boyfriend Ollie stayed with us for a few days and before leaving they gave us a few little gifts, including this amazing. With bits of the comb? Today,...

Wednesday, January 27, 2010. Mastering the Art of French Cooking. My own won't be so ambitious as to cook a fabulous meal every night of the year. What I really want to do is have a quaint little place online to post pictures of my own creations and talk about things that excite my creativity. I refashioned an old shirt and made a purse without a pattern (somehow it turned out okay) and I have so many more ideas of things to try. Here's a sneak peak at my newest project. (little birdies). Here's to new a...

another split decision: chai tea recipe.
http://anothersplitdecision.blogspot.com/2011/01/chai-tea-recipe.html
Sunday, January 30, 2011. Take some more tea," the March Hare said to Alice, very earnestly. I've had nothing yet," Alice replied in an offended tone: "so I ca'n't take more.". You mean you ca'n't take less," said the Hatter: "it's very easy to take more than nothing.". With the cold and snowy winter weather, could you think of anything more warming and heavenly than a house filled with the aromas of ginger, cardamom, cloves and cinnamon? Here's the recipe I followed (also found. Next time, I'm thinking ...

another split decision: August 2010
http://anothersplitdecision.blogspot.com/2010_08_01_archive.html
Sunday, August 29, 2010. Thank you Mom and Dad! Friday, August 6, 2010. Random, the birthday cat. Where we first met one year ago. His old hang-out outside our kitchen window. Before he became a plump cat. Monday, August 2, 2010. Wines not worth mentioning. So i won't say anything more. but here's two photos for reference. These three deserving of an only-one-word review: "meh."]. The Girard 1999 Red Wine below was quite delicious (please ignore Random's expression, as he's not a big wine drinker).

another split decision: photography voice.
http://anothersplitdecision.blogspot.com/2011/01/photography-voice.html
Friday, January 28, 2011. This photo, unexpectedly, turned out to be my favorite from last weekend in Harrisburg. Before anyone arrived for Cuddle Magic's. Show, I walked around and took some pictures of the really awesome decor. Here's a prime example of an out-of-focus shot I took. Have you ever listened to "This American Life" on Public Radio International? I really kind of love Ira Glass. His "voice" is so distinct, so matter-of-fact. so, well. Does this sound like you too?
