Because of having to work every other Sunday, working 12-hour shifts, and traveling often, I’m unable to attend church every week. I rue the hours that have mounted up over the years standing in a store aisle trying to decide between gifts for a loved one, or sitting THINKING for way too long about which task on my list has the highest priority NOW! As I continue to face a difficult trial, my temptation to keep my eyes on problems instead of promises remains great. I tell others to remember God’s promises in their trails, but it seems so hard in mine. I talked to a coworker, and she calmed and comforted me. I cried out to God to intervene. God did intervene in mighty ways in that situation years ago. Everything will be alright.
