Sunday, February 23, 2014. 4th Annual Reed Rodeo. On February 8, 2014 we had our annual Reed Rodeo. We started with the 3 legged race. We also had a gunny sack race. Since we didn't have any gunny sacks. We used pillow cases. Some of the pillow cases were tight for the older kids. Some of the pillow cases were to big for the younger kids. The adults had a fun time. Nich had a tiny pillow case. Wes was a good hopper. Brittany was hiding from James so he wouldn't knock her over. Brooke almost made it.

Sunday, June 2, 2013. Out with the OLD. In with the NEW. After 17 years we tore down our old chicken pen. And Brian built a new one. It has 4 nesting boxes where the chickens can lay their eggs. The eggs can be gathered from outside which the grandkids. Brian did an awesome job. The grandkids got involved and painted it. They had a great time. And did a good job. Wednesday, August 17, 2011. John is engaged to Karlee Mcghan. On July 15, 2011 John surprised Karlee by proposing to her at Petes fish and chips. John met Karlee when she was working there. It was only fitting that he ask her at Pete's since that is his favorite place to eat. The ladies working at Petes were in on the surprise and called Karlee to the window for her order and gave her a box with a ring in it instead of french fries.
