Learning 2 Breathe: Self-improvement vs. Self-acceptance
http://l2breathe.blogspot.com/2015/02/self-improvement-vs-self-acceptance.html
Thursday, February 26, 2015. Self-improvement vs. Self-acceptance. I shared a talk I gave at church a few weeks ago and in that talk I shared how I love self-improvement books. But as I was preparing I had a sudden thought, "should we be working on self-improvement or self-acceptance? After pondering self-improvement vs. self-acceptance and reading various articles online I see that both are important, but I do feel like having self-acceptance first will benefit anyone before tackling self-improvemen...

Learning 2 Breathe: Looking for Peace
http://l2breathe.blogspot.com/2015/07/looking-for-peace.html
Thursday, July 2, 2015. Since my anxiety started around 2005 or 2006, I haven't felt much peace. A few years later was when I had my first full-blown panic attack, then later I started therapy and so on to now. Also, as I have been working through these latest childhood issues, I had wondered what I wanted at the end of this, what am I looking for? What word would you look for? Labels: A is for Accept. Tuesday, October 21, 2014. The Girls At The Wedding. This is my beautiful daughter who was a bridesmaid at my son's wedding. My adopted daughter got to be one too and it made her so happy, she lost a ton of weight to fit into this beautiful dress, so proud of her! Labels: E is for Enrich. Thursday, October 16, 2014. I just had to share a couple more wedding pictures, me with my grand-niece in her beautiful flower girl dress and my grand-nephew wearing his Jack Skellington bowtie. So adorable! When we are...

Learning 2 Breathe: December 2014
http://l2breathe.blogspot.com/2014_12_01_archive.html
Tuesday, December 16, 2014. Our Stake President pointed out that he wasn't saying there was anything specific, he just felt very impressed to remind us all to be prepared for whatever may come whether it be financial, physical or spiritual challenges, to do all that we can to be prepared. Several weeks ago I had come across this quote from Elder L. Tom Perry that I had highlighted and it goes right along with this:. I also really loved this quote from President Ezra Taft Benson:. Learning 2 Breathe: March 2015
http://l2breathe.blogspot.com/2015_03_01_archive.html
Tuesday, March 31, 2015. Diagnosis is . . . Gasteroparesis. I have Gasteroparesis (gastero - stomach paresis - paralysis) and this was finally found through a stomach emptying study. So apparently the nerve that controls the contractions of the stomach has been damaged and so it isn't functioning properly or at all (I don't have that answer yet, I still need to meet with the doctor). Unfortunately, this isn't something can be healed so I just need to change my lifestyle. Labels: A is for Accept. This is ...
