Tutorials and DIY Projects. Below are two inspiration boards for some friends who are re-doing both of their daughters’ rooms. They wanted to add a more grown up feel but still keep the girls’ personalities in mind. I put together the below inspiration board for some friends of mine who are looking to make some small updates to their guest bath. One thought on “ Inspiration Boards. http://primaryinidaho.blogspot.com/2014_12_01_archive.html
Monday, December 22, 2014. Are you ready for JANUARY! Start your New Year off in your classroom with this creative Art/Writing project about Martin Luther King, Jr. Here are a couple great books to read to your primary classes to go along with the study of Martin Luther King's life, death and his legacy. I love this series of historical books for my primary students. My library has some of the titles, but I am growing my own collection as well. A Picture Book of Martin Luther King, Jr. by David Adler.

At Home with the Hjertstedts: PW Holiday Baking
http://athomewiththehjertstedts.blogspot.com/2014/01/pw-holiday-baking.html
Friday, January 3, 2014. It was super easy to make, and I always love recipes that have you complete the assembly the night before so you can pop in the oven the next morning. I went ahead and added some pecans to the topping because I had some on hand. I really liked it, but I feel like it is more like a bread pudding than "French toast". I did eat one piece at night as dessert. Matt was not convinced. I think he was expecting a more traditional "French toast". Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

Monday, December 30, 2013. Ice at the Gaylord. On the weekend after Thanksgiving, we went with Emily, Nsal and Kristen to the Gaylord Texan in Grapevine to tour ICE. Matt, Emily and I had been a few years back and we thought Westin would enjoy it. I was so proud of him for making it down the big slide by himself! For some reason, they wouldn't let the parents go down the slide with them, even though it was just a few feet shorter than the other slides. Sunday, December 29, 2013. How about some cookies?

http://primaryinidaho.blogspot.com/2015/01/martin-luther-king-lesson.html
Saturday, January 10, 2015. Martin Luther King Lesson. Just found this awesome idea for teaching about Martin Luther King and his message. It's from Elementary School's Counselor Blog. The blog seems to be inactive since last spring, but she has some wonderful ideas that still work today and can be used. This M and M lesson. Is very simple but very clear and powerful for young minds to understand the concept that we are all the same underneath the color of our skin. Martin Luther King Jr. See My Posts :).

Friday, July 26, 2013. Because we were out of town on Westin's actual birthday, we had a little celebration over the Fourth of July weekend while we were in Mt. Vernon visiting my parents. We had Mickey Mouse cupcakes since we had just been at Disney. Love this one.can you tell we were a little hyped up about the drum? He wasn't quite sure what to think of the cupcake at first. But he ended up getting into it. Tuesday, July 23, 2013. Follow my blog with Bloglovin. Saturday, July 20, 2013. With a question...

And just having fun around the house! And I ran across some interesting news while at Northpark the other day.a See's Candies is coming! Dark peppermint patties (Anna's fav). Double chocolate chip truffle. Cafe au lait truffle. Strawberry cream (Matt's fav). Is it sad that I know all these? Monday, August 5, 2013.
