Sherry Rodgers, county children's librarian, visits the library each Thursday at 10:30 AM for programs that include stories, music, movement and crafts. Children age 2 and up are invited to attend.

The library provides a hang-out place for teens after school with study areas, computers and lots of young adult books. Booktalkers, a club for kids in grade 5 and up who love books, meets monthly during the school year at 4:00 on the second Wednesday. Sherry Rodgers introduces the students to new books for young adults. There's fun and food as well as discussions on what kids are reading. Summer brings workshops for this age group involving a craft, food, trips, and fun relating to the summer theme.

How do I get a library card? You must come to the library to complete a library card application. A photo ID with your current address is required. If you are a new resident and have not yet updated your ID, a bill such as a water bill with your current address will work. How much does a card cost?
