Two Women Named Liz (The Bronx Cats Story). Past : : Present : : Future : : Perfect. Liz Frank was born 4/17/60 in New York City. Her mother was an artist and professional illustrator, and encouraged the talent she saw in her daughter from early childhood. Liz received her BFA from The Rhode Island School of Design in 1981, and returned to New York City to pursue a career in the world of art. Liz passed away 10/27/12 at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center after an 18-month battle with breast cancer.

Liz continued to do well, so well that I kept joking with her that she would have to fake illness for people to believe she had anything wrong with her. In May of this year the doctor wrote in her chart “Excellent response to treatment! 8221; Six weeks later they found metastatic lesions in her brain, however, and that was the beginning of the end. Why am I doing this?
