2月18日 四川省教育厅正式公布了2013年高等学校省级实验教学示范中心建设项目名单，学院申报的 网络工程实验教学中心 项目成功获批。 3月11日 学院第一届 挑战杯 大学生创业设计竞赛开幕式暨比赛培训大会在国际报告厅举行。 3月11日 美国玛赫西管理大学计算机管理学院院长Dr. Gregory Guthrie一行来访学院，就两校开展进一步交流及合作进行了深入而热烈的探讨，并达成了一致的合作意向。 同时，美国玛赫西管理大学计算机管理学院院长Dr. Gregory Guthrie在学院国际报告厅做题为 Computing, Creativity and Consciousness 的学术讲座，并就学科专业学习、联合培养项目等问题与学生进行了沟通和交流。 3月20日 美国芝加哥伊斯维斯大学 East-West University, Chicago 校长Dr. M.
