Friday, November 2, 2012. Our Whirlwind (a.k.a. the last 4 weeks). We've had a really busy few weeks. We haven't been a very healthy family, but things are beginning to improve and we are thankful for that! Let's just say that we've all been building our immune systems. Sunday, June 2, 2013. The Park and Food Trucks. Here are a couple of pics of Isaac's first trip to the park! Such a sweet baby boy! He didn't really like going down the slide, but he thought it was fun to try to climb up it. After going to the Farmer's Market in Greensboro one morning, we wanted to go grab lunch at our fav (well Brett's fav and my first experience) food truck. We found out that it would be at a food truck event in Winston-Salem, so we jumped in the car and headed that way.

Friday, September 21, 2012. 3 Month Stats and Consignment Sale. I was in such a rush to post Isaac's three month photo that I didn't include any of his stats. Here they are:. Weight: 12.5 lbs. He goes to bed at 8:30pm each night. Sometime a little earlier, depending on how tired he is. He eats 30 - 34 ounces each day, usually taking a 6 ounce bottle each time. Isaac usually only wakes up 1 time at night for a feeding. On really great nights, he sleeps for 9 - 10 hours, until 5:30am or 6:30am! We had our ...

Thursday, December 27, 2012. The other weekend we went Christmas shopping (yes, in short sleeves). While we were out, we couldn't help but stop at Ben and Jerry's to get some yummy ice cream. Since we haven't been the best about taking pics, we thought it would be a great opportunity to make up for lost time. Isaac is adorable and he is getting bigger each day! Hubby and I spent Thanksgiving week on the Outer Banks of North Carolina . . . specifically in a secluded soundfront cottage by the name of Cat's Meow in the village of Frisco. The time away was desperately needed, as it had been three years, I believe, since our last vacation. Twas a peaceful week of napping, eating, hot-tubbing and shopping. Below are a few pictures. Am I actually sitting down to blog? Kent is a totally different kid now that he's 8 months old. Let's have a quick recap:. A special shout out to my parents and father-in-law who did amazing work packing up the container and cleaning when it was crunch time.
