The refinery has many bulk tanks and needs the levels of the tanks displayed on their current control system. The first phase is to measure the levels in 12 Bulk Tanks continuously. The system of choice was to use E H micropilot sensors connected to a Profibus PA network, with a Profibus PA to DP gateway to enable the information to be integrated into their Siemens PLC.
