Thursday, June 20, 2013. The Rumors Are True! It's true, after nearly 3 1/2 years (almost to the day), we will be leaving California. This has all happened rather quickly, and I really should be packing instead of writing on our blog, but I thought this deserved a post. Yep That would be five weeks from offer to start date. Kind of crazy! I think I got a total of six hours of sleep on that entire trip, but in the end we are ending up with a great house close to great schools and in a great neighborhood.

Tuesday, July 23, 2013. A Series of Unfortunate Events or Our Move to Colorado. I don't want to sound ungrateful or all "gloom-and-doom" in this post, but this was by far the most difficult move we've ever made. I wish I could pinpoint a cause for all of the chaos that has ensued over the last week and a half, but I think it all comes down to Murphy's Law. Sunday, January 1, 2012. So, a couple of months ago I walk into my kitchen to start fixing dinner and find this little friend hanging out on the stove. At first I was super annoyed because I thought it was one of many plastic lizards that I find throughout our house on a daily basis. We have more plastic lizards than Punky Brewster has freckles. Seriously, it can be a problem. I went to pick the lizard up while saying, "Who left their lizard on the stove? Just another day at the Henrie house.

Sunday, February 5, 2012. Our oldest daughter Gracie was baptized on January 7. That's her with the rest of us right after we got out of the church. Gracie had been interviewed by Bishop Sonnenberg the week before (she passed! And she and Justin met briefly with President Figueroa (2nd counselor in the stake presidency) briefly before the service. He knew both verses! Gracie: "I was so so happy because I was clean! 3 Little Men and Me. Tuesday, April 27, 2010. A new day, a new week. Tuesday - took Ty to Winston Salem to see his endocrinologist (thyroid) had blood work done. Wednesday - took Ty to pediatrician (follow up for weight gain) he is putting on weight, yay, and he had an ear infection. I kept him home the rest of the week. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). 3 Little Men and Me. Wednesday, April 7, 2010. Spring has definitely sprung - or is it summer? Yesterday it was 93', and the lovely yellow pollen has coated the cars - yuck! Sam spent the entire spring break with Trisha Apple and family. Love her! Blessings continue. Ty is scooting all over the floor - you would never know that he has a 4 inch vertical incision on his belly! I am so grateful for the many prayers offered on our behalf. The most exciting thing was that he, without help, took blocks out of a bottle, put them in a pile, after some coaching from me, "No! Stop throwing them over there! He put them in the pile, then put them back in the bottle, AND then tried to screw the lid back on! He has never done that before! We are having lots of firsts, too exciting!
