Special Treatment and Lymphoedema management clinics are conducted at Central Anti Filariasis Campaign and at Regional filariasis Units. ( Please refer the Clinic Dates and places at Home page ). Treatment for microfilaria positive persons. Diethyl Carbamazine Citrate (DEC). 6mg/kg body weight/per day for 12 days in divided doses. Care for the persons with lymphoedema. Supportive Treatment for lymphoedema. Elevation of affected limbs. Wear comfortable foot wear. Treat the bacterial and fungal infections.
