My Journey as a Private Pilot. August 27, 2011. So, I have been averaging a flight every 30-45 days or so (thank you, work). I hope to cut that down to about at least once every 3-4 weeks, at a minimum. Laquo; X-wind at Fort Meade (FME). Great videos Brian, what kind of camera are you using? My Journey as a Private Pilot. January 12, 2012. Instrument and Commercial Ratings – Here I Come…. So, one year after receiving my Private Pilot Certificate, I am about to embark on another adventure – an Instrument Rating, followed closely by my Commercial Rating. My ultimate goal is to become a Certified Flight Instructor (CFI) within the next two years. The beauty about all of this (besides being able to fly a lot)? Getting most of it paid for using my Post 9-11 GI Bill. :). Laquo; Airspeed Junkie.

A visual history of my experiences as a private pilot. Airplanes I have flown. On 7/30/09 • Categorized as Airplanes I have flown. Many private pilots have logged hundreds, even thousands of hours using Microsoft Flight Simulator. I started flying with this software on my PC many years ago. When I started taking real flying lessons I wanted to make the experience even more real so I decided to build a home cockpit. The other major improvement on my second home cockpit was that I split the PC screen to ha...

My Journey as a Private Pilot. December 16, 2011. Full disclosure here. Airspeed Junkie found Runway18 and offered me one of their products in exchange for a review and I was more than happy to oblige! What I will say about the company itself is that they are extremely responsive to communication and delivered the product via expedited service. Having a good product is only half of the battle; having great customer service is the other. I’ll most definitely being stopping by again soon! Keith J. Jones.

People often call me the Flying AcroYogi, because I literally fly around the world to explore, play, and teach AcroYoga: connecting Acrobatics, Yoga and Thai Massage. I believe that everyone. Ik geloof dat iederéén. I am proud the announce the dates of the second. Fly active with a Raven. Convincing the world - one omni at a time! Monday, December 28, 2009. Millions of fur-bearing animals including foxes, raccoons, minks, beavers, otters, and others suffer and die on fur farms each year. 85% of the fur industry’s skins come from animals living captive in fur factory farms. The other 15% percent of the fur sold comes from animals caught in the wild. You wouldn’t wear your dog or cat’s fur would you? Chinchillas are another favourite to the fashion industry due to t...

Service without a smile: why airlines aren't nice. Virgin America, a passenger favorite, might have to change its ways to please Wall Street. Passengers cherish Virgin America for its mood lighting, live TV, fancy cocktails and friendly flight attendants. That nice-guy approach to air travel wins awards and attracts a cult following, but may not fly with Wall Street. For all the accolades, Virgin America has lost $400 million since its founding in 2007. The most over-the-top airline seats ever. The rooms...

Our goal is to be our patron’s First Choice, and to continue our journey to becoming a world class Flying Club. We train the best pilots out there by providing them the best instructors, facilities...
