Tuesday, March 29, 2011. Round these parts we have a 2nd hand kid store called Kid 2 Kid. Same idea as Children's Orchard. Well, I took a decent sized box to my local store to get store credit or cash. well, sadly they didn't like/need a bunch of the stuff I had brought in. I thought I'd donate it to another kid in the ward until I came across this fantastic idea! Http:/ iammommahearmeroar.blogspot.com/2010/11/upcycled-t-shirt-dress.html. I was able to make 3 within an hour! Look out DI.here I come!

Monday, October 25, 2010. Oh how I love taking pictures! I have always imagined myself as a professional photographer capturing images that evoke feeling and emotion! Little did I know that the best captured emotion is that of FRUSTRATION! My dear friend Michelle and I love chatting about this and that and have a common interest in photography. Although we have opposing cameras we have the same lense that just makes you say "YES! Well , it didn't stop me from taking a gazillion pictures of the kids in ac...

Fire and Spice: Fresh Pico de Gallo
http://twinnersrecipeblog.blogspot.com/2015/08/fresh-pico-de-gallo.html
Saturday, August 15, 2015. Fresh Pico de Gallo. Our neighbor brought over a huge grocery sack of tomatoes for us from his garden. I knew that I would be making some pico with them right away, because I LOVE pico de gallo! I combined a couple of recipes I found and made this. You can eat it right away, but it definitely tastes better when it has had time to chill, and the flavors have all blended together. Fresh Pico de Gallo. 8-10 tomatoes, seeded. 1/2 red onion, finely chopped. 2 medium cloves garlic.

The girls had their pick of the desserts and couldn't get enough.neither could I! My cousin Beau, he has lived with us in CA a couple of different times so the girls LOVE seeing him!

I had just about the most fabulous birthday a girl could have! Turning 30 was not a problem! Especially since I had so many people wishing me well, and celebrating with me! Wed, September 15th, I dropped my kids off at school and upon leaving the pre-k room Michelle and her kiddos sang Happy Birthday (their version including some fart noises HA)! Wish I...

Tuesday, October 28, 2014. This was a super fun and yummy treat to make and eat! If you are not a candy corn lover like myself, do not be afraid of this recipe! It was actually one of my favorite parts of the Popcorn snack. So weird. The candy corn just kinda melted a bit and got a bit smushy and it really gave it a fun and yummy texture in your mouth. From Our Best Bites. 1 package Almond Bark (1 lb). 12 C popped popcorn (about 1/2 C kernels). 1 C candy corn. 1 C dry roasted, salted peanuts. Leave them ...
