January 4, 2012. Here’s something I don’t usually admit. I make resolutions every year. Big, mind boggling ones. Ones I have no idea how (or let’s be real, motivation) to complete. There’s something about a New Year that makes me think that I’m supposed to be dreaming up great things. Plus, I like lists. If you were to ask me, point blank, I’d deny all of this. I’m not the resolution type. I’d say. I keep my dreams close. Creating a comfortable, beautiful home. Generating income outside of my everyday job.

My mom fell sick this past December and I’ve spent the last few months trying to reconcile the frail, fragile person she’s become with the young, vibrant lady in this photo. Anyway. Let’s be honest, they sort of are. When I was surprised to find myself pregnant, I had to face a few different kinds of fear. Here’s just a bit of it,. 6812- two years later. 12412- babies are scary when they’re yours. 112811- breastfeeding is scary. 8211- last week, cont. 72811- sleep deprivation is scary. 72711- coparenting is scary. 72711- babies ruin marriages. 72611- being home all day is scary. (or, i don’t want to lose myself). 72511- babies are scary. Or those about “little ones.”.

Well i should known not to buy chinese pastries from HBC. It's been a rather blah morning - nothing horrendously horrible, but nothing particularly exciting either. Somehow I ended up at the Bay food counter on my daily lunch quest. Food is cheap, it's decent, and I was in the neighbourhood anyway. AND. they carry Dufflet's pastries. which is really cool when you're craving a decent sweet snack that isn't a chocolate bar from the corner convenience store. CADBURY CREME EGG COOKIES!
