The amateur cook goes to school. Saturday, November 20, 2010. 9 months in pastry world. Okay so where do I start? So, my plan for going to culinary school was to learn how to cook. To be precise, to take Cuisine course. Learn the basic stuffs: how to julienne carrots to. to be able to make boeuf bourguignon. Instead I chickened out when I know that I have to handle seafood in cuisine. Killing the lobsters and slicing the fish. Yes, not a big fan of seafood. But no, I did GET. Yes Does it worth the $ $?

Oven-roasted honey pork fillet. 2 tbsp hoisin sauce. 1 tbsp Dijon mustard. 1 Pre-heat oven to 375F. 2 Squeeze the lime all over the pork and sprinkle salt and pepper. 3 Mix the hoisin, honey, and mustard all together and pour it all over the pork. It's so easy to make, and absolutely good. 1 cup soft butter. 1/2 cup icing sugar. 1 capful of almond extract. 1 Place the soft butter in a mixing bowl. Sift the dry ingredients over the soft butter. 2 Whip together the mixture using an electric beater or standing mixer until the mixture resembles whipped cream.
