Food With A Plan. Making meals living on a budget. Crockpot Brandy Beef Roast. I was lucky to find to packages of beef roast for $6.00 a piece. As they were on sale at my local Chief’s Supermarket. I love starting the beef roast the night before in the crockpot. I cook it on high. That way the roast is nice and tender by morning. Beef roast cooking in the crockpot with carrots and spices. The next day right before we eat I make a Brandy sauce to pour over the beef roast before eating. 1/4 teaspoon of salt.
