This month people are constructing their outhouses and we'll hold an inauguration celebration on Saturday, June 1 with a chicken dinner, skits, games, and presentations. Thursday, September 18, 2008. I'm back from Germany! Just a few notes, because life is short. 1) In Germany, people don't cross when the crosswalk light is red- even if there are no cars. I suspect this is a metaphor for all of German culture, although the Germans were somewhat dismissive of the phenomena. 2)The Dom in Bamberg(? Four years to financial freedom. Monday, July 23, 2012. Hopefully I can get back into blogging on a regular basis. Then there's still the endless birthday parties, wedding socials and baby showers that need to be attended and gifts purchased for. Throw on top of that the landscaping the DH wants to do this summer and the budget is out the window. The numbers need to be updated, and I need a plan. Things just can't continue at the same pace, else we'll never get to that end goal of financial freedom.
