Monday, October 8, 2012. Personal Revival - Prov 24:16. The life of the Christian has its ups and downs. We may have met Jesus at a revival meeting, or perhaps it was a "chance" encounter with someone on the street, perhaps it was some relative or friend who introduced us. But we were excited, and we were going to tell the world about it! Restarting certain disciplines may feel uncomfor...

Tuesday, December 20, 2011. May it be to me as you have said. May it be to me as you have said. 8220;I am the Lord's servant, Mary answered, may it be to me as you have said." - Luke 1:38. The angel Gabriel visits Mary, betrothed or engaged to Joseph the carpenter. Suddenly she is hearing an incredible message, that she, a virgin, without a physical man being involved, is going to be pregnant with the Son of God! Would Joseph disown her? Would she be stoned to death - the punishment for extra-marital sex?

Monday, October 22, 2012. Acts 15:39-40 "And the contention was so sharp between them, that they departed asunder one from the other: and so Barnabas took Mark, and sailed unto Cyprus; And Paul chose Silas, and departed, being recommended by the brethren unto the grace of God.". So God used this seemingly negative event, to develop and grow two people, and countless others through them. Posted by Pastor Gerry. Monday, October 8, 2012. Personal Revival - Prov 24:16. Tuesday, January 10, 2012. I am making everything new! I am making everything new! 8220;He who was seated opn the throne said, 'I am making everything new! Then he said, 'Write this down, for these words are trustworthy and true'" - Revelation 21:5. These words are written at the end of the Bible, speaking of the culmination of God's incredible plan and involvement with human kind! But those of us who have accepted Jesus in this life, have already welcomed his rule! All glory and honor be to His Name!

Thursday, August 9, 2012. The state of our heart! Today I have been thinking about marriage. I am thinking about my own marriage, that of others I know, and I am thinking about all of my friends. A couple of weeks ago I personally started a journey to improve my marriage. Dianne and I watched the movie "Fireproof". Anyway, I started the journey talked about in the movie. It makes a difference, that's all I will say. I suggest that anyone who wants their marriage to improve, take on the Love Dare.

Saturday, March 31, 2012. The vine is developing! The vine is developing! Psalm 80:8-9 "You brought a vine out of Egypt; you drove out the nations and planted it. You cleared the ground for it, and it took root and filled the land". This verse speaks about the nation of Israel, which God brought out of Egypt, weak and powerless, and which God then planted in a place of blessing where it would expand and grow into the greatest nation of its time, under King Solomon. Tuesday, July 3, 2012. What Does Blessing Mean? In my last post I spoke about the power of blessing. Jacob blessed his grandchildren. It impacted that family down through the generations. Grankids became familes, which grew into tribes and eventually nations. There is a lesson in this. An event which seems insignificant today, can have far-reaching and long-lasting effects, even beyond our own awareness. Have an awesome day,. Posted by Pastor Gerry. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Pastor's Blog: The Power of Blessing!

Monday, May 14, 2012. The Power of Blessing! When Israel saw the sons of Joseph, he asked, 'Who are these? They are the sons God has given me here,' Joseph said to his father. Then Israel said, "Bring them to me so I may bless them.'" - Genesis 48:8-9. This incident has a huge impact! So we have the power to speak blessing into the lives of our children just as Jacob did with his grandkids. As a matter of fact, we have power to speak blessing into the lives of everyone we meet or touch. That pers...
