After Kiba finished her AKC Nationals qualifications the first weekend in October (when it was SUPER HOT, by the way), I started my busy time. First I flew to Ottawa to teach for the weekend. Pursuing Agility Excellence: a journal. Strafe and I leave in only FIVE more days for our big European summer adventure trip. We're flying into Munich because it was the closest relatively affordable direct flight, then stopping to sight see briefly in Salzburg before driving down to Hungary. We're in Hungary at the Team Hotel for the European Open, coming up SO SOON! Strafe got a brand new fancy ID tag this year, the first time I've sprung for such a thing! Pursuing Agility Excellence: a journal. We leave in a little while for the AKC National Agility Championship. This is the closest we've ever had a National agility event - only 2 hours drive. It seems quite strange not to be packing for a long drive or a flight, but it sure is nice. Last year Strafe did really well, getting into Challenger Round and placing 3rd.
