I'm sitting on the blacony of the Bird House at the Genesis Lodge in Ek Balam. The full moon is incredibly bright, just above the tree-tops, and the crickets and jungle birds are in good voice. Sarah and I are sipping coffee and glugging agua in a cafe near the bus station. Yesterday was a long one - 24 hours' travel from Lucy and Martin's in Ashtead to Gatwick, Atlanta and Cancun.
