Wednesday, February 3, 2010. Christmas 2009 (Part 2). Yes, I realize that Christmas was 6 weeks ago, but who doesn’t love a little Christmas in February? 160; If you missed Christmas - Part 1 you can find it here. After having breakfast in Camp Sherman on the morning of the 24th we headed for home. Unfortunately this drive took a bit longer (about 6 1/2 hours) but the girls still did really well so we didn’t have much to complain about. . 160; After we got the girls ready for bed we read. 160; After pr...

The Opsahl Family: Soccer!
http://opsahlfamily.blogspot.com/2010/10/soccer.html
Thursday, October 21, 2010. Works for me since I’m not quite ready for rainy Saturdays watching soccer. Getting Addison ready for the first practice was a little challenging since we had to talk her into wearing something other than a dress. After a few minutes of complaining we finally got her to pose for a picture before heading out the door. Practice was hilarious…we had a great time watching all the kids run around. After a few practices the Tigers were ready for their first game against the Lions!

http://opsahlfamily.blogspot.com/2009_06_01_archive.html
Tuesday, June 30, 2009. Okthis is my first attempt at being better about updating our blog! Our subscription to the girls baby website is expiring in a few days so rather than pay for another year Erik has decided to create a website where I can share pictures, etc. Since I'm not sure when (or if! That will happen I'll try to keep this updated for now :) I think I'll even point our old website. To this blog instead of the old site. At her 3 week appoinment she was 9lbs 10oz! Addison absolutely loves her ...

Tuesday, March 30, 2010. As you know…every month on the 29th I put Sophie into a plain white onesie and slap on a handy ‘month’ sticker (from www.pickysticky.com. To capture how much she’s grown. The little photo session that follows is always challenging - but always makes me laugh-out-loud :) . Here’s the winner for our 10 month photo shoot…. And here’s what we like to call the ‘many faces of Sophie’. Don’t you just LOVE that face? 160; We definitely do :) Happy 10 month birthday baby girl! 160; Alo...

The Opsahl Family: April 2010
http://opsahlfamily.blogspot.com/2010_04_01_archive.html
Tuesday, April 13, 2010. Thursday, April 8, 2010. Quote of the Day from Miss A! We had plans to head to a friends house this morning so right after Addison woke up I planned to take a shower. She kept asking me why I was taking a shower before breakfast so I told her that we were going to her friends house. She then said “oh, you need to look pretty? When I got out of the shower I stuck my head out of the bathroom door to make sure the girls were doing ok and Addison said “Are you all done mommy?

The Opsahl Family: It’s party time!
http://opsahlfamily.blogspot.com/2010/06/its-party-time.html
Wednesday, June 23, 2010. It’s party time! Warning…long post and TONS of pictures to follow! We finished up Sophie’s birthday weekend with a wonderful party with family and friends. We decided on a fun Rainbow Brite theme (vintage 80s, of course). Tricia and I loved Rainbow Brite growing up and it was so fun looking for ways to decorate for the party. I was amazed at how much I was able to find on eBay from the 80s…in the original packaging nonetheless! 160; . And rainbow striped baby legs. Great Gra...

Since my parents were in Ireland for the past 3 weeks we were able to do all the planning without making them suspicious so things worked out perfectly and we were able to totally shock them! The Opsahl Family: May 2010
http://opsahlfamily.blogspot.com/2010_05_01_archive.html
Thursday, May 20, 2010. I’ve decided that one of the only things funnier than listening to the things a 3 year old says, is listening to the things that two 3 year olds say to each other when they think no one else is listening. This morning, Addison’s friend Chase came over to play for a few hours. They’re together a lot so they play really well together, and honestly are pretty good at entertaining themselves in the playroom, which is a nice break for me! Chase: Addison, come here and play with me.
