It is so fun to be with the cousins (and my sisters). We spent most the day with Stephanie and her kids Matt, Mike and Bron (Stephanie is pregnant with her fourth baby- A GIRL! The best part was having my Mom with us. She deserves a Grandma of the year award. She rode all the rides and made them so much fun! Hannah was just scared to death).

Saturday, June 18, 2011. Colby played his first real year of baseball, and had a blast! He played for the Twins and made some good friends as well. He played third base, and has quite the arm! He even pitched in two games. He got better at batting each game and had some monster hits! He was the KING of stealing bases and sliding in at home. He got good at watching for strikes as well. He really learned allot about the game! I think this might be his sport. His very first trophy! Links to this post.

Saturday, July 23, 2011. Shingle bells, Shingle Bells, Shingles all the way. We thought a cracked nose was bad.shingles are worse. Dyson had been complaining of body aches and pain in his ribs for a few days, so soon as he woke up with a rash.I knew what we were dealing with. I ended up taking him to the Dr after the rash had gotten MUCH MUCH bigger. Dr looked at it and said it was one of the worst cases he had seen. Refreshing. They played their little guts out! He even made all the jersey's HIMSELF!

Monday, August 29, 2011. We are surviving here at home. Gary was on night duty last night for the first night home, and it was a bit of a rough one. Alex didn't sleep very well at all. He was fussing with his oxygen, wanting drink after drink and just not resting well at all. Gary was so sweet and let me sleep the whole night. It felt great to get 7 hours of sleep all in a row!
