Hernando Skate Park Project. 2011: In October 2011, Hernando citizens Edward Pidgeon, Chad Crawford, Michael Ann Dillinger started the long quest for skate park in their town. They started the grassroots group on facebook Hernando Skates. 2011-2014:Due to the groups tireless fundraising efforts, $34,000 was raised mostly at through small gifts donated at the Hernando Skates booth at the downtown Farmer's Markets.
