Uvalde, TX 78801. Robert is trimming out huge Mesquite logs for Mantles. Anything from 3 feet wide, to 8 feet wide! First, the mantle is cut to the length, depth, and thickness needed on a large bandsaw. The backside is cut square, as are the ends. The front is abrasively shaped, leaving no bark, or sapwood. (This eliminates the chances of wood borers and powder post beetles.). The larger mantles must be picked up at Robert's shop in Uvalde, Texas, 78801. Smaller ones may be able to be shipped VIA UPS.
