Breath Taking - 11,200 feet, East Humboldt’s, Nevada. Monday, April 22, 2013. Last week I got in right around 70 miles. My buddy Eric and I ran the same 20 mile run on Saturday and Sunday, running from Rancho Park, over Peavine Mountain, to River Bend. I was happy to see that on Sundays run we were only 12 minutes off our time from the previous day. I will take that. And was ready for the day. It was beautiful on the mountain and I am really glad that I was there to experience it. I might even go fishing.

Monday I slipped out at lunch to try to hook a carp on a fly rod, but despite the fact that there were lots of carp cruising, none of the carp seemed interested in feeding.
