I figured i should put something here. Allowing user to “sudo” on CentOS 5.5. May 2, 2011. On Ubuntu, its really simple. And you’re done! On CentOS, theres a couple more steps. As root, run. Usr/sbin/usermod -aG wheel jak. Then edit the /etc/sudoers file. Go down and find this…. Allows people in group wheel to run all commands. And remove the hash in front of %wheel so it looks like…. I figured i should put something here. PHP from time() – a human readable time span phrase. April 22, 2012. I’m sure this has been done many times before, but I wanted something to turn a date time string like ‘2 days and 9 hours ago’ to give the last deployment time on a little git deploy tool I’m working on in my spare time. Among nationalized Indian banks, only SBI has been able to match the quality of service provided by banks like ICICI, HDFC and the other multi-nationals. I spent 2 years at IIT ruing the fact the we had to forcibly bank with Canara bank. So this one experience in Bangalore was as much astonishing as it was refreshing. The ATMs were down too, couldn't even withdraw cash and get the DD done at some other bank.
