Ooedo Onsen was the onsen recommended to us by the hotel. It turned out to only be a 20 minute train ride away and one of the biggest onsen facilities in the country. It was huge! My Michigan metabolism couldn’t take the heat of the pools for very long; I think I was only able to sit in the hot pools for 10 or 20 minutes at a time! 2 thoughts on “ The Onsen. We sat in front of a huge screen and was put into a battle simulation where you are the pilot of a huge mech called Evangelion and Japan is being invaded by these huge aliens so you have to fend them with your Evangelion to keep them from destroying Japan.
