New in GNOME

Sun, Apr. 13th, 2008, 08:32 pm. Been going through forums and online help and all that about getting GNOME to run on FreeBSD 6.2. It does kinda sorta, but in looking through the error file, I'm finding several startup errors, and decided to tackle the earliest one first, since later ones may go away as well if this one gets solved. The first error thrown is GConf Error: Bad key or directory name: "/desktop/gnome/screen/ 0/resolution": Can't have two slashes (/) in a row. Wed, Jan. 31st, 2007, 10:00 am.

evolution issue? - New in GNOME

Fri, Sep. 16th, 2005, 11:29 am. Using ximian evolution 1.4.5, which may be a bit out of date, but it's a lab machine, so i can't do anything about that. i'm trying to add a signature script. it keeps telling me "You must specify a valid script name" and then closing the window without saying. Is invalid or what would be a valid script name. Anyone know what the hell i'm doing wrong? Fri, Sep. 16th, 2005 09:01 am (UTC).
