Sunday, February 26, 2006. Santa Monica Beach Trip. Oh, wait.we were there too. :). We walked on the pier, had sandwiches together at some picnic tables, and took a few pictures. The first one is from the pier looking north toward Pacific Palisades. It was a pretty sunny day with a light breeze, probably 75 degrees or so. Not bad for February. Friday, February 24, 2006. Saturday, December 31, 2005. Even with a nasty headcold, this kid loves the tub. And at the end of the day when all else may have been a disaster, I'm happy to settle into our nightly routine which always includes this wonderful event. Thursday, December 29, 2005. Sniffle, cough, sniffle. I'll raise my hot cup of tea to that! Now off to take a nap while the baby is still asleep. Sounds like it is settling into his chest too, which worries me. Sunday, November 27, 2005. Dylan loves his food when he is in the tub having his bath. Sometimes he won't eat something but then when he is having his bath, he'll gobble it right up! He's had a couple green vegetables and some sweet potatoes, and apple sauce is next on the list. Today (Sunday) Briana had to work, so me (Ryan) and Dilly went to church to the early service. Sunday, February 11, 2007. Not so much of a nap. We went to the Caltech campus today with Ryan before dinner so he could check on some things at lab. Dylan didn't take much of a nap today (sat in his crib for over an hour though and sang, chatted, and jumped up and down though), so we figured he needed to burn off some steam before bedtime. Sunday, April 30, 2006. Caltech with aunt nancy. Saw the turtles and frogs Sunday at the Caltech campus. With Ryan's aunt Nancy. It was fun to show her Ryan's new world and walk around a bit in the beautiful afternoon sunlight with a cup of coffee. Because of the good sunshine, there were lots of turtles sunning themselves at the pond edge, perfect for pictures to share with everyone here. Tons of turtles sunbathing on the rocks. Sunday, October 30, 2005. Yesterday we went downtown to the arch for a photo-shoot of sorts. There is a nice park by the arch with trees and grass, and the Fall colors are cool. We went at the end of the day when the light is low and lights up the colors on the trees. Tomorrow I (Ryan) get to watch Dylan because our babysitter canceled. I'm glad that my first reaction was excited to get to spend some time with him rather than annoyed that it will cut into the work I planned to do. Labels: authored by Ryan.
