Hidcote Garden KAL: August 2007
http://hidcote.blogspot.com/2007_08_01_archive.html
Monday, August 27, 2007. So far so good :). Having summer vacation in Scotland this year I brought with me my new baby, the Hidcote Garden Shawl. I have not encountered any problems beside the odd forgotten yarn over. But that's really nothing. But I had to hit my head in anger with my self for not taking enough yarn with me: How could I! I got to Chart #6 with 50 gram of lace yarn from handpeintedyarn.com. And then I had to stop. But luckily, home again, and I continue on this very beautiful shawl.

Hidcote Garden KAL: March 2007
http://hidcote.blogspot.com/2007_03_01_archive.html
Saturday, March 17, 2007. Anyway for those that are finished, congratulations, your shawls are beautiful, they do inspire me to keep on going, and I will. I do have a few questions though, someone had mentioned an errata sheet, where do I go to pick this up? How many ring markers did you end up needing to use? Just being on the chart #2 I have used up a pkg of 20 already. What do others use? At $399 a pkg this could become very expensive. Appreciate your help,. Posted by Cindy at 3:48 PM. Hidcote Garden KAL: February 2007
http://hidcote.blogspot.com/2007_02_01_archive.html
Monday, February 26, 2007. I just finished my Hidcote. It's my first shawl, first lace. Yarn: Knitpicks Shadow in Jewels. 3 skeins, the last one wasn't quite used up. The second picture shows how much was left. Cost $7.50. Total cost for a gorgeous lace shawl, including re-usable supplies: $15.00 Divide that by 59, the number of days in Jan and Feb, and that comes to 0.25 per day. Wow, where else can you get value. A quarter for hours of entertainment each day. Posted by slimsdotter at 6:40 PM. I had a f...

Monday, October 08, 2007. For a good purpose. I just want to share with you that I made the Hidcote Garden Shawl. For the Pink Ribbon Auction here in Norway. And it was auctioned away for about 180. That's some good news for all women with breast cancer, I hope? Posted by Pinneguri at 6:36 AM. Take our button and join us by emailing Knitnana at siameezercatATyahooDOTcom. Hidcote Garden KAL: January 2007
http://hidcote.blogspot.com/2007_01_01_archive.html
Sunday, January 28, 2007. Working on Chart 8. I was able to get a little knitting done this week in between the craziness of my dissertation. I'm now working on Chart 8 having finally knit my last diamond motif. One of the things I like best about this shawl is that the design changes to something completely new and different right at that point when you are weary of knitting the current motif but haven't gotten so bored you don't want to finish the project. Posted by Kristina Plaas at 9:27 PM. Is the of...

Hidcote Garden KAL: September 2007
http://hidcote.blogspot.com/2007_09_01_archive.html
Wednesday, September 12, 2007. Finished at last :D. At last, finished. If I had not promised to give it away, to the red ribbon organization in Norway, I would had laid it down for never picking it up. I was very tired the last charts. It's huge, this shawl. But I really liked the last pattern, and I really didn't like the middle section. Would it be possible to make a shawl that just are part 1 and part 3? Would they fit together? Tomorrow is blocking day. Thanks for the joy ride :D. For a good purpose.
