Shame on me! We still haven’t given up on our dream of living in an RV full time, but life has really gotten in the way. My husband’s work contract ended, and for quite a while there the job market was completely bare. Despite his best efforts (and believe me, he tried everything! We haven’t given up…. May 26, 2015.

HAPPY (BELATED) PI DAY! I am a bit of a nerd, I’ll admit it. So I couldn’t let a day that comes only once in a hundred years (3.14.15) pass without celebrating with an epic pie. And boy was this epic. It looks like a big Samoa cookie! The base is similar to a typical graham cracker crust, but with chocolate instead. Yum!

March 19, 2015. Won’t it fall apart? Will my husband even eat this? Sure does, surprisingly no, and a resounding yes! The first step is to get the mushrooms washed. I prefer baby bellas, but you can use white buttons or whatever you prefer. Much salt, the feta is pretty salty. Season Mushrooms with Salt and Pepper.

These are actually painted since he couldn’t find white pumpkins in his “neck of the woods.” I love them! Centerpiece has an elegant yet country feel with use of the cat tails. How adorable! Is moving there so this postcard is mostly for her. Now, off to the Gulf Coast! Ewwwww See what we get for taking an interstate!

Dave and Susie's Musings.Stories from everyday life! Road Trip Part 2. Sunday morning started off with a wonderful late morning breakfast at The Big Biscuit. The meal was delicious the coffee hot and "good to the last drop". As you can see the pancakes, big as dinner plates and the biscuits as big as your thumb and middle finger together making a circle with both hands. So light and fluffy with a certain crunch when you first bite in. Two Eggs, Hash-browns, sausage and a Big Biscuit. The place is huge!
