A Face Only A Mother Could Love — Barely. Lucky for him, he’s cute. →. February 23, 2011 · 7:37 am. Jack is 6. Ian is 4. Except for the occasion wet bed, they are both fully potty trained. For the most part they sleep in their own beds all night, every night. They can get themselves in and out of the car (a sedan – no need for a minivan! Feed themselves, dress themselves, and entertain themselves. What was I thinking? I guess if I’m going to buy girly things, they will have to all be for me. I was wonder...

Ian said he didn’t want to go because “everybody will be scared of me.” And he was right. They were. I noticed the kids, moms, and even some of the nurses at the doctor’s office making an effort to not look at him. Only one girl was brave enough to ask me, “What’s wrong with his face?
