Library Science uses extensive. Studio experimentation in its recordings – employing tape echoes, field recordings, live and sampled instrumentation, drum machines, and spring reverbs. Their process is to write a song, build the arrangements inside their recording machine, then "dub the song out" by deconstructing, processing and mangling the music through effects and experiments. Happi Tyme Records was formed by Otis Fodder and Mildred Pitt in April of 2002. The label is based in Seattle, Washington. Our catalog numbers run in the 1000 series for Compact Discs and in the 2000 series for free online releases. Our logo was designed by Jennifer Sharpe of Sharpeworld. ON EVERY SECOND TUESDAY OF THE MONTH HAPPI TYME IS A CHEESE SANDWICH.
