mercury-studios' bloHG: March 2010
http://mercury-studios.blogspot.com/2010_03_01_archive.html
Google Goes ‘Big With A Gig’. This article was originally written for The Hartford Informer on February 18th, 2010. The idea is to gain the support of whole communities and provide this lightening fast Internet to them. In total, Google ISP looks to reach between 50,000 and 500,000 people in its first test run. Seattle, Ontario County NY, Washington DC and the entire state of Hawaii have already expressed interest in “going big with a gig” with Google’s new service. It remains to be seen whether this wil...

mercury-studios' bloHG: Better of Ted, Dead?
http://mercury-studios.blogspot.com/2010/03/better-of-ted-dead.html
Better of Ted, Dead? What’s the point America? It seems like every time I really get into a show it gets cancelled. And that was probably its downfall. America doesn’t get smart comedies (Arrested Development, cough, cough). Instead we’re stuck with the same terrible comedy, the likes of which are only twisted further by “class-acts” like NBC’s The Marriage Ref and shows that should have been left to rot, yet somehow live forever (Simpsons). David says so on:. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Google G...

Midtown Utopia: September 2009
http://midtownutopia.blogspot.com/2009_09_01_archive.html
Saturday, September 26, 2009. In The Heights tour - Wepa! The carnaval is moving out of the barrio. Nice (http:/ www.asugammage.com/shows/2009-10-broadway-season/in-the-heights). I'm really enjoying how interactive they are making this tour, in terms of their website. They have a map of the U.S. with the tour stops listed and when the tour starts, fans can upload their photos to the map at the appropriate stop, to create a mega fan gallery. Http:/ www.intheheightsthemusical.com/map.html. I'm sorry, what?

Midtown Utopia: January 2009
http://midtownutopia.blogspot.com/2009_01_01_archive.html
Sunday, January 4, 2009. January 4th closings; 13 the Musical; Altar Boyz Review. It's rather poignant that I begin this entry of the new year on the day that many shows on Broadway are closing. I know a lot of this is due to the economic stress and what not and while some shows definitely deserved to close earlier (I'm looking at you Grease), some other didn't. I'm talking about that little musical called 13. Through the ups and downs of the adventures in his new town, and the fantastic score by Jason R...

Midtown Utopia: June 2009
http://midtownutopia.blogspot.com/2009_06_01_archive.html
Sunday, June 28, 2009. Epicness on 46th Street. Everyone's favorite dance Jon Rua graced the Richard Rogers stage this past week twice as the lead Usnavi in IN THE HEIGHTS. I was devastated when I found out he went on Tuesday and did not know about it until Wednesday. Luckily, and I really have no idea how this happened but I was able to do the lotto on Thursday with my friend Meredith and we won! And to my utmost delight, Jon was on again as Usnavi. Labels: in the heights. Wednesday, June 24, 2009.
