Friday, June 19, 2009. Especially for Grandma Marilyn. Dave's mom, Marilyn, sent up a mini video recorder. So that we could post videos of the kids as well as photos. She was very excited about it because it's so small that I can stuff it right in my purse and catch the boys doing what they do while we're out and about. We received the camcorder this afternoon and here's my first video to share. It's nothing special.just Austin getting on the computer (Dillin was sleeping). Dallas and Marian Ford.

Tuesday, August 4, 2009. Dillin's on the move! Wow, what an eventful week it has been! Dillin started crawling, standing with support AND cut two teeth! To top that off he had a bit of a cold, so sleeping around here hasn't been so peaceful. Despite the lack of sleep, we are very excited for our little man! Austin loves the new mobile Dillin too. They can play together in a whole new way! Sorry it's sideways. I can't figure out how to rotate it.). Seems he's reverting back to his baby days.

Wednesday, May 26, 2010. Jack finally slept a good chunk of time last night. I gave him one last feed at 10:30pm, swaddled him up really well, and put him down in our room. I was expecting another bad night, with him waking up every two hours, but he slept until 4:30 this morning! His sleep patterns seemed to have gotten worse over the last three or four weeks, and two nights ago was probably the worst of them all (resulting in the desperate letter to my son below.) Wednesday, April 28, 2010. Here's an update on Jack's new tricks this week and a couple pictures too. Jack slept in his own crib all night last night (see post below)! He's watched many Blazer games recently and is ready for a victory tomorrow! Jack does not sit still. He is always moving, kicking his legs, swinging his arms, bouncing.he reminds me a lot of my nephew, Solomon. It'll be fun to have a very active boy. He has found his tongue and makes all sorts of funny faces now. Hanging out with Grandma:.

Monday, December 27, 2010. Happy Thanksgiving, Merry Christmas, Happy 11 Months. What else did I miss from the title of this post? I will do my best to recount the last two months! Thanksgiving dinner was filled with lots of Turkey and mashed potatoes, as well as every one's. He pushes his push car around with one hand, while making 90 degree turns and talking on his play phone. He jabbers and talks all day long, but he doesn't say any real words yet. Friday, September 24, 2010. I am late in posting this, but Jack turned 8 months old more than 10 days ago! Since the last time I posted, Jack has learned how to pull himself up onto anything he puts his mind to. He's learned to fall on his bottom so he can now stand up and get down all on his own, but he's bitten his tongue a few times sitting down, so we still need to work on his dismount a little bit! Monday, July 19, 2010. 6 Month Check Up. We had Jack's 6 month check up today, and he is doing great. I'd also like to say how much I like our pediatrician. She's wonderful! Jack is 18 lbs. 11 oz. Friday, August 20, 2010. The last weeks of summer. Jack survived his first week of daycare with flying colors! Brant and I couldn't be more pleased with how happy he seems and how easily he transitioned. We also feel so blessed that his daycare provider seems to have fallen in love with him.
