January 21, 2009 at 8:55 PM. Thank you. I guess I just need to do something to deal with the pain. Looking at the photos over and over, I start to become numb to them. but at his house, the large ones Aki has, they broke my heart. January 21, 2009 at 9:23 PM. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Silver Lining in Seattle: "Dream On"
http://silverliningseattle.blogspot.com/2009/01/dream-on.html
Tuesday, January 27, 2009. A couple of nights ago I had another dream about Moh. It's only the second dream that I have had about talking to him, at least that I remember. I didn't wake up with the feeling of his arms around me or his kisses lingering on my lips like my last dream about him, but I heard his laugh. It warmed my heart. I know he wants me to stop worrying about him. I'm working on it. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Silver Lining in Seattle. View my complete profile. Try Not to Breathe.

Silver Lining in Seattle: April 2008
http://silverliningseattle.blogspot.com/2008_04_01_archive.html
Wednesday, April 30, 2008. Why Don't You Get a Job! I'm going back to the career plan I had right out of college, a career in public relations. I have been speaking with a friend of my brother-in-law who works in public relations in San Francisco, and he recommended I have a short "oral presentation" of my past experience and why PR that I can deliver at interviews. So, why PR? My skills have always been strong in reading, writing and speaking. Since then, technology has been a passion of mine and I'm al...

Saturday, January 31, 2009. Photo from National Geographic. I had an opportunity to attend a World Affairs Council. Viewing of Rick Steves' Iran: Yesterday and Today. Tonight and I found it fascinating. The program itself was fascinating. The architecture, art and culture of Iran was so interesting and beautiful! And, as Moh's mother had said, everyone in Iran was so kind and friendly! During a traffic jam, a stranger gave Rick Steves a bouquet of flowers and apologized for the traffic! A couple of night...

Silver Lining in Seattle: "The Trapeze Swinger"
http://silverliningseattle.blogspot.com/2009/01/trapeze-swinger.html
Sunday, January 25, 2009. Getting to the cabin was another adventure as two cars, including my rental, got stuck in the snow/ice. I’m a bit nervous driving in ice these days after my car slid into a truck on I-5, so I left it to the guys to get me out of there. (Thanks Steve! It was exactly what I needed, a group of people that loved Moh remembering and celebrating his life. We continued the celebration at a strip club in Reno. I’m sure Moh loved this part most of all! I know I’m not alone. Moh...January...

Silver Lining in Seattle: August 2008
http://silverliningseattle.blogspot.com/2008_08_01_archive.html
Sunday, August 31, 2008. I Had A Dream". I Had A Dream- Joss. Had a dream last night. What a lovely dream it was. I dreamed we all were alright. Happy in a land of oz. What a lovely dream it was". Last night I had a dream that was upsetting, comforting, scary and sweet and tender. I was going through a drive thru. Next thing I knew I was in a large warehouse. Or something with a bunch of other Americans. The terrorists seemed to be on the other side of the warehouse. Were with us. I went over to Moh.

Silver Lining in Seattle: September 2008
http://silverliningseattle.blogspot.com/2008_09_01_archive.html
Saturday, September 27, 2008. Without you, the ground thaws, the rain falls, the grass grows. Without you, the seeds root, the flowers bloom, the children play. The stars gleam, the poets dream, the eagles fly, without you. The earth turns, the sun burns, but I die, without you.". I know Moh would be mad at me for this. I know he wants me to go on with my life. I'm trying, but there is just so much pain I don't know how to deal with. The Heart May Freeze. Or It Can Burn. The Pain Will Ease. If I Can Learn.

Monday, February 2, 2009. Starting All Over Again". Starting All Over Again. By Israel Kamakawiwo Ole'. Starting all over again is going to be rough. For us, we're going to make it. Starting all over as friends is going be tough. On us, we gotta face it. We lost what we had. That would hurt us so bad. Set us back a thousand years. But we going to make it up. Though I know it's going to be tough. To erase the hurt and fears". Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Silver Lining in Seattle. The way I see it, if you w...
