The Grimes Family: June 2009
http://thegrimesboys.blogspot.com/2009_06_01_archive.html
Sunday, June 21, 2009. So after a few minutes of just sitting on the bike and getting a feel for it, reassured that he wasn't going to fall off, we were ready to start moving. This brought out more fear, but I'm not ashamed to say that he was bribed into keep trying ("If you don't , you won't get to go see Daddy's martial Arts class" always works wonders! At last he got moving! He was actually pedaling! He figured out how to stop himself! He was having fun! He was riding his bike! I was so proud of him!

Tuesday, November 23, 2010. It Has Been A While. Wow my last post was in March? So much has happened since then. Going to do my best to try and catch up. Will add more pictures later. Celebrated Easter at our house with the Grimes Family. Daniel was home but left a few weeks later to go overseas to Afghanistan. Summer fun at home with the boys. We stayed busy in the sun and by the pool as much as we could. Not a whole lot going on in September other than Fall pictures and dress up days at school. And too...

Saturday, September 19, 2009. We, of course, were sitting right by the pool with our eyes on him the whole time.) It was a nice day and fun was had by all. Now, bring on the cooler weather! First Day of School. I can't believe my baby is starting kindergarten! He is so excited to be going to school! The best part, according to Connor, is that he won't have to take a nap anymore! I hope that he never loses this love he has for learning! My first born son turned 5 yeard old on August 4th! Where did the sum...

The Grimes Family: December 2008
http://thegrimesboys.blogspot.com/2008_12_01_archive.html
Monday, December 29, 2008. Even though Shawn wasn't feeling well, the boys and I made our way to the Candlelight service at church on Christmas Eve. When we came home, we found that Shawn wasn't feeling better at all. In fact, he felt worse! Trying to keep up Christmas spirit and traditions, the boys got dressed in their holiday pajamas, we made cookies for Santa and watched The Polar Express! He ended up being admitted to the hospital and was there for three days! What a way to remember Christmas!

The Grimes Family: December 2010
http://thegrimesboys.blogspot.com/2010_12_01_archive.html
Wednesday, December 22, 2010. We took the boys to see Santa at The Villages of Allen again this year. Connor was very proud of the letter that he wrote to Santa. He did not want to send it off in the mail, he wanted to read it to the big guy personally! Santa graciously took a few extra minutes so that Connor could share his writing! Posting from my cell phone worked. Now lets try posting via email! Sent from my iPhone. Can It Be This Easy? We will soon see. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). We have been very ...

Saturday, March 21, 2009. Last night we were having Ketucky Fried Chicken for dinner and it got me thinking about my Grandpa. Yes.it was the chicken that brought on the memories. (What can I say? The man loved fried chicken! With his jalepeno peppers, that is! 1 Him and his cowboy hat that he always wore. 2 The way he would say "Angel, my love.". 3 Dancing to "My Boogie Shoes" at my wedding! I think that was the first time I had seen him dance! I'm so thankful that I have it on video! There's so many mor...
