Monday, October 08, 2012. Just hit 26 miles. I still had .2 miles to go. After every corner I would think, "Seriously! Where is that finish line! I found out in the last 7.5 miles, I passed 256 runners, while only 56 passed me. I was surprised I was still running so strong. I just wanted it to be over. I ran a negative split, meaning I ran the 2nd 1/2 of the marathon faster than the first. According to my garmin, here is what pace I ran each mile:. Sunday, June 24, 2012. Shade was limited up there, so we were lucky to find this pine tree. Lily was more interested in spilling her drink and getting muddy than eating.
