Tuesday, May 19, 2015. I really can't believe another preschool campout has come and gone. This year flew by. FLEW. This is sort of our last big thing with school for the year. And its always amazingly fun! This year rain was predicted, but it stayed away and it kind of made for a fun, small, intimate group. Wednesday, September 17, 2014. Last weekend we scored some sweet tickets at the Staples center.to walking with dinosaurs. Thanks Farmers. We had a heard about this show a while back and found out they were finally touring again. We got there with plenty of time to walk around before the show started. We found our seat, and of course at all of our snacks before the show started. T-Rex of course came last, its a blurry picture below but there he is chasing down ankylosaurus. Friday, August 22, 2014. This past week we took it out on its inaugural trip - and what better place than Rincon (its also one of the only place that still has first come first serve spots during the summer). We headed out midday on Sunday and found the perfect spot (71 for the record). We were settled and unpacked in no time and down on the beach. Monday, August 3, 2015. Last week was our last week of school camp. The boys' last day was one of my volunteer days which was kind of nice to get to see them enjoy their last day before school starts back up. Scott was in an uncharacteristically mellow mood and sat and read most of the morning.so ready for kindergarten. At little later he recruited some friends. Tuesday, March 31, 2015. Ya'll, I think we can officially call ourselves campers. The weekend after Owen's birthday camping trip we headed out again, this time to Carpinteria with a group of friends from school. Most of the group went up thursday, but we waited til friday because of work and book fair obligations. Packed the essentials of course:. Saturday, December 27, 2014. I was an absolutely terrible picture taker on actual Christmas, but I did manage to capture the events leading up to the big day. Sunday, November 30, 2014. Safety Day (better known as cupcake day). Last week at school we had safety day. A few parents organized a day where the police department, fire department, CHP, the forest service and EMS came to school, complete with trucks and equipment. Scott met up with his buddies first thing and I basically didn't see him the rest of the day, except for from behind the camera lens. Monday, June 30, 2014. At the end of each school year there is a raffle basket fundraiser at our school. Each class puts together a basket with a theme and then we raffle them off. Our class happened to do a science basket.and we happened to win it! The finished product came out beautifully, and then we waited for it to dry again. Torture. The volcano construction happened during a rare nap for Owen, but baby boy was up in time to get the party started with the eruption. The results did not disappoint.
