A new cruise every time. Wednesday, June 29, 2011. Day 34 Port Said. This is the one we went inside :). Building burnt during "facebook" revolution in Jan. Gosh, up at 5.15am today and it is now 10.55pm, so yes I am rather tired. With another early day tomorrow though think we'll make it 6am start. What can you say about Cairo and the Pyramids, if you've seen them. You'll know how amazing they are and if you haven't.do it! New grandson and other things got in my way, so after having no cruise booked for a few months I got withdrawals so booked this little 10 day cruise. A new cruise every time. Sunday, June 29, 2014. Still not final payment time for my Singapore trip, that's in about 6 weeks.but in the meantime I have booked another 2 cruises! They are actually back-to-back (B2B). When I heard that Princess was bringing another ship to Australia next year and one I've never been on The Golden , I thought here is my chance to bring the new ship home to Oz for her season here. A new cruise every time. Wednesday, October 1, 2014. 26 days to go! What an actioned packed few weeks until my cruise. I retire from work on the 22nd, I made that decision a week ago. Well more signed on the dotted line last week. I had been contemplating it anyway as I turn 55 next Feb anyway. So while I finish up things at work I also have to concentrate on making sure I have everything under control for this cruise. So am getting excited and can't wait to explore and compare the Diamond to the 3 girls.

A new cruise every time. Saturday, August 17, 2013. Well I have now paid for the cruise, taken out insurance and checked on the progress on the $30m upgrade to the ship happening now in Singapore. She will no longer be basically the same as her sisters Dawn and Sea which I have been on, part of the refurbishment includes an International Cafe, Sushi Bar, Barbeque and update of Horizon Court. (and other stuff! New countdown clock says 85 days, so am pretty happy with that! Links to this post.

Philip's big trip 2011. Saturday, September 24, 2011. I said I was taking a break from the long cruises, which is true. But our sons were very keen to do a repeat of last year's family cruise. So we're doing 10 days on the Pacific Pearl out of Auckland, to Tonga and Fiji. And that takes care of who's going to organise Christmas Dinner! So now Christmas Day for us will be spent lazing away on Dravuni Island, Fiji, followed by Christmas Dinner on board the ship. Wonderful! April 24, 2013 at 1:42 AM.
