Monday, June 19, 2006. Shifen, the widest waterfall in Taiwan. Here are some photos from Shifen Pubu ("pubu" = waterfall). This was an outing to celebrate my 30th birthday (gasp! We'd had a lot of rain so the falls were roaring. A very fun day. Me by the train station, bonsai, foot bridge in background. One of the bridges we crossed to get to the falls. A mama dog and her puppies that we met along the path to the falls. They don't look pretty, but they were very friendly. The Buddha and I.
