Hermana and the Llamas: Amazing week, difficult day
http://leannallred.blogspot.com/2014/09/amazing-week-difficult-day.html
Monday, September 8, 2014. Amazing week, difficult day. Transfers are today. I´m staying here. I was really hoping I would get to stay here, and I am. I wish I could just stay here forever. Hermana Hunter got transferred to Puerto Maldonado! The jungle. I´m happy I´m not there. I hate the heat. But she´s from Cali, so she´ll be fine. We changed Nilda´s date to the 20th cuz she went out of town for the weekend. They´re still amazing. Love, Hermana Allred. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

Hermana and the Llamas: October 2014
http://leannallred.blogspot.com/2014_10_01_archive.html
Monday, October 13, 2014. This is the last one. I`m only a week away from seeing you wonderful people. I had a giant letter written out to send today, but I left it on my desk, so Ì`ll try to remember it all. Sister Allred. You are hereby called to serve as a missionary of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. You are assigned to labor in the Peru Cusco Mission". I know that missions are not for everyone, but it was for me. I never once have regretted my decision to serve. Being here h...The h...

Hermana and the Llamas: August 2014
http://leannallred.blogspot.com/2014_08_01_archive.html
Monday, August 25, 2014. I am still loving my mission. My companion is the best thing that has happened to me. We get along so well, and I never have to tell her to be obedient or work hard. She is such a blessing. Transfers are in 2 weeks, and I´m nervous that president will snatch me away from her. I really hope not. I forgot most of what happened this week, but a couple random moments:. Her mom just looked at them and said "oh look, you found her. what are those? 3- All of my companions have told me I...

Oh darling family and friends. I do believe I live in the greatest mission in the world. I HAVE MACHU PICCHU IN MY MISSION! And that is why I am here. I feel the love God has for every person I teach the minute I walk into their homes. Even the ones that treat us like trash. I see them for what they could be, not what they...I feel th...

Hermana and the Llamas: It´s been a good life
http://leannallred.blogspot.com/2014/10/its-been-good-life.html
Monday, October 6, 2014. It´s been a good life. The quote I am living by from now on is "what if Jesus had slacked the last two weeks of his life? I have been trying my absolute hardest to give everything I have to my mission. I was thinking back on all the experiences I´ve had, and my mission has been absolutely incredible. No one else has served MY mission. And I will never serve it again, so I have to give it everything. Sorry there´s not many pictures. I didn´t really think about it haha.

I for some reason have had my ear clogged all week, and so hearing out of my left ear is totally non-existent. This creates lots of awkward, and funny experiences talking to people . . as everything is unaudible! Well my classes are all registered up until Dev 2014 for BYU, so hoo-rah for BYU admissions lady being your mission president's wife. A strange feeling. He's doing well, and going forward. We were at the VF chapel all day yesterday, just getting destroyed by how many hours. Just a spiritual ...

What a week this has been. I cannot adequately express to you the feelings of this week in this small letter, but it goes without saying that God is good. The week started out fantastic with a fishing trip with a member and the sisters to Stenungsund, Such a pretty place, and pictures are included! That night I got my classes set up for BYU with Syster Newell, so Tuesday morning we were ready to go again! The theme of this week is captured in Brigham Youngs speech (I have been absolutely captured by his ...

Well, this week was a rapid one. My companion headed down to Kungsbacka the day before transfers to visit his family, which left a convert of two years from England to be my companion for the day. Good ol' Elder Morley. Sometimes in the frivolity of our daily lives, and the opportunities that lay before us, we forget the core beliefs that can truly heal the wounded heart. Through experience, and testing that waters, if you will. What say ye my sons, will ye go against them to battle? Auml;ldste Derek Day.
