My frustration stems from the lack of meaningful spiritual support in my chosen tradition of practice, more or less. Or maybe even the lack of spirituality I perceive all around me, regardless of tradition. Or perhaps it is an indicator that I do not strive, therefore I would not know what striving really looks like?

In fact, until today, I haven’t tracked my calories or weight in 67 days. But it is still good to put numbers to it. That said, even when I abstain from the obviously. Of course, my scale’s batteries going dead, combined with my own apparent laziness, probably helped to encourage the continued mediocrity.
