Chasing powder across borders………. We left Big Sky on another beautiful bluebird day… So nice to bask in the sun for a while. We got on the road headed towards Castle Mountain, just across the boarder in Canada. We had a long driving day ahead of us, deciding first to stop in Bozeman for a quick breakfast and look around. After a great meal at Cafe Nova, we cruised around downtown. Filled with local boutiques and sports stores, Bozeman has it all. Windy conditions meant blowing snow on the road…....

Chasing powder across borders………. Powder in Park City. Snow was falling all night here in Park City, and was still falling when we woke up this morning… We were pumped to get on the hill with the anticipation of lots of fresh snow. Old friend from Newport, Jay Miles, who now lives here in Park City with his family, offered to show us around the mountain. A prompt pick up at 8:30, and we were on our way to the hill. Some awesome Mexican at Chubasco, and the day was complete! It is an super fun mountain...

Chasing powder across borders………. Bliss in the Backcountry. Today we got up early to make it to meet our friend Matt, a patroller at Jackson Hole, to head up to the Teton Pass. As we were driving out of town, with the sun illuminating the Teton Mountain Range, we were definitely feeling our greenness with backcountry skiing. Huge whoops of happiness chased us as we made fresh tracks. Days like today make you feel lucky to be alive, out enjoying all that nature has to offer, and also to have great friends...
