Saturday, July 24, 2010. On My Way - Journey to Thailand. Saturday, July 10, 2010. Anyway, I haven't seen these guys in what seems like FOREVER. So, my sister, Goldshoua, and I dropped by Charlotte on Monday for a quick hangout. Well, I'll tell you one thing- it wasn't quick (lol) but it was definitely worth the 2-hour trip. I was so incredibly encouraged by these guys that it was sad to bid them farewell! We watched the movie, The Last Airbender. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). View my complete profile.

Mission in Thailand: Life at Christian Paisansart Dormitory
http://mydurinthailand.blogspot.com/2011/02/life-at-christian-paisansart-dormitory.html
Tuesday, February 1, 2011. Life at Christian Paisansart Dormitory. There are a total of 34 girls, all ranging from first grade to ninth grade. Therefore, many of them (as I can imagine) are going through the ups and downs of puberty while struggling to make good decisions in the midst of peer pressure. This adorable girl is Wanida. Since my arrival, she has stuck onto me like glue! With Wanida, P'Beem (my roomie), and Sirirat. Why do you have a bag on your head? I will definitely miss this place). He gav...

Mission in Thailand: August 2010
http://mydurinthailand.blogspot.com/2010_08_01_archive.html
Tuesday, August 10, 2010. Finding a Motorbike and a Place to Stay. I looked at many places but I wasn't able to get them all on here. *Sigh* It was so tiring.place after place seemed small, overpriced according to Thai standards, and had a problem with bugs! As for the motorbike, well, it's a Honda Click. I have to admit- it's a little bit more on the expensive side but I'm hoping that it will be well worth it's price. If not, I'll exchange it :) (Pastor Bunsoem won't be happy if I do that! Most people d...

Mission in Thailand: God is Close to the Broken-Hearted
http://mydurinthailand.blogspot.com/2010/12/god-is-close-to-broken-hearted.html
Monday, December 13, 2010. God is Close to the Broken-Hearted. And with that, he then presented me with a few more questions. 8220;How did you know it was God talking to you? 8221; he asked. 8220;Well, I know now that it was God because all the words He gave me were straight from the Bible. But at first, I thought it was just me talking to myself,” I replied. How do I know that You’re real? Certainly we couldn't do anything in our own power to make ourselves worthy before a Holy and Just God. What could ...

Mission in Thailand: March 2011
http://mydurinthailand.blogspot.com/2011_03_01_archive.html
Friday, March 18, 2011. Back in the States.for now ;). With my awesome sister, Pearl, at a beautiful lake in SoCal. It's 6:16 AM right now and I am waking up in Orange County. It has almost a full month since my return from Thailand. Yet, I am still recovering from reverse culture shock for being there for about roughly 2 years. He slightly turned his head to see what was the object of obstruction, saw that it was my pitiful luggage, and stepped forward to get out of the way of its way. Gee, thanks.
