A Photographic view of what I see. One of the stand out features in the Northern part of the Karajini National Park are the large termite mounds. They are an amazing structure and have some great textures in their make up apart from the fact that they provide a nice contrast in the surroundings. A Photographic view of what I see. Sunset hues in the Ashburton. The sunset created some beautiful colour in the gorge we camped in and it was an amazing opportunity to photograph it. The early morning colours in this area are fantastic and it’s the best time to shoot in the pilbara in my opinion. Ian Wiese's Photography Blog. Landscape Photographer from the South West of Western Australia. Steam Engine lit with a single flash. I took one shot of the wheel and axle in the foreground, another shot of the carriage in the middle of the scene, and multiple shots of the background. The background shots were combined using OP Relight into a single image. The ability to adjust the intensity of each “light” allowed me to even out any hotspots in my light painting of the background. Middle Layer with holes.

Went out on a boat to have a look at the USS George Washington at the w/e. I must say it was massive! I think it had more aircraft than perth airport, I counted 50 F-18’s on deck, let alone the ones down below. Having got a little too close (300 m) we had a chat to the local constabulary but luckily no shots across our bow!
