Homeless people share their life stories: Rebecca. History of Rebeccas Community. Rebeccas Community was founded in 2002 by two friends Dominic Mapstone. And Gerry Denton. As a Social Worker, Dominic was coordinating a service for homeless people in Brisbane. Gerry, a computer programmer by day was volunteering with the service. The friends often debated at length how to improve the service and what further services were needed for homeless people. Dominic and Mouse fishing off the cliffs for dinner.

Within days Elle came to the attention of a drug dealer who promptly set in play a plan to take advantage of her. For around two weeks he supplied her with free drugs, saying she could pay him back at a later date. He showed her how to shoot-up and supplied her on a daily basis. With brothel staff and patrons.
