2007년 7월 23일 월요일. My thoughts on authentic tasks and contents (Week 7). With these, we often neglect the roles of students when we discuss the authenticity of the tasks and contents. The concept of authenticity is not universal and need to be flexibly interpreted, depending on individual learners’ interests, goals of learning and needs. Related to this, there is a unique contextual issue in EFL situations, because the motivations for learning English are quite distinct from ESL contexts.
